funny xd
This is a very well managed cemetery. I often walk through here and it looks great in all seasons. The staff work hard to keep it like this. Dog owners respect the grounds, which is important . The gravestones are kept as good as possible. I am sure The Friends Of Rake Lane Cemetery, help a lot .
Wallasey Cemetery, also known as Rake Lane Cemetery, is extensive and very well maintained. Many of the graves are very ornate in great condition. There are a few areas of graves near the chapel with carefully cultivated lavender growing on them, and more with other plants like heather, in summer this looks and smells fantastic. There are war memorials to First World War and the victims of the Blitz in Wirral during the Second World War.
A quaint little cemetery, ideal for a brisk walk on your way to the local library
