One of my favourite bookshops. Situated opposite New Brighton station and on the same parade of shops as the excellent Sea Shanty cafe and Lavender and Bone gift etc shop. Primarily second hand with some new books from local authors, Literally... has something from everyone and at affordable prices. They also buy or accept books for sale and I often take books to them and end up taking new books in exchange! Friendly and with the feel of a bookshop from my childhood in 70s and 80s, I would strongly recommend this shop.

Well-stocked, very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Particularly good for books on history and works of local interest. Worth having a look round if you happen to be in the area or are making use of the railway station opposite. Free parking outside or in nearby streets, where there is usually plenty of space.

Amazing local store with folios and classic prints haven't seen anywhere else. Would be nice if they took card payments though, although I'd have probably ended up spending quite a lot if they did!
