Needed to know approximately how long it will take for a delivery. I haven't ordered anything yet, but was told it could be anything from 24hrs to 4 weeks. Not very helpful.

Great little Argos, friendly staff and has good stock, but you might have to go to the Clifton Moor branch for something less popular.

I have lost total faith in this Argos store. I was with my mother at the time and I handed £120 birthday and Christmas money to the cashier, Debbie, at the till. I paid in full CASH for a karaoke machine infront of 2 members of staff which was all checked and verified. I was then duped into taking out an Argos card which I thought was a points card and tried to cancel immediately after discovering it was actually a credit card. Only to be told it was "too late."I left the store with my purchase only to later start receiving phone calls and letters 'reminding me to make my payments" I ignored the letters and phone calls as I knew the item had been paid for. Only to horrifyingly discover, after another phone call that that my till receipt had been incorrectly printed and claimed that I was on a buy now pay later plan owing then regular payments. The store has been closed since March so I cannot challenge anyone in the store about it but without a valid receipt and being unable to talk to anyone about this, it looks as if the real thief has got away with taking my money and I am being harrassed to pay debts I do not even owe. We have both been regular customers at this store but won't be shopping here ever again after this!
