Just bought a car and took it to get petrol when it ran out, the battery died while paying and the forecourt man helped us so much with it. He pushed the car out of the way and got us some jump start leads, unfortunately I didn't get his name but without him we wouldn't have gotten home any time soon. This is going to be the only petrol station I use now, the service is so friendly and they really do go out of their way to help.

I'm sick of going to this garage for fuel and coffee on way home of an evening only to be told machine being cleaned"! I know personally it's because the lazy sod can't be bothered to do it. I went last night after 14 hours shift at 1 am and tonight at 10.35 and said you're taking the p!$$ mate and he laughed at me! I've bought fuel from Karl since Neston but that is a customer lost. When I said " next time I see Karl ill tell him" the black guy behind counter again laughed and said tell him, he'll do nothing! Goodbye Karl. Plenty garages round here.

1/ 5

I'd give zero stars if I could. Don't ever think of getting a job at either Crosby Road North Shell Garage in Waterloo or the Derby Road Garage in Bootle. Karl won't pay wages owed to the staff. Reading the reviews this appears to be an ongoing problem. In general everyone should just avoid the using the garages anyway. Clearly he's not a person to be trusted.
