I visited this establishment regularly over a period of 5 years as the school Police Officer. I assisted with incidents within the school and the local community involving students, staff and parents on a daily basis. I watched the new building lay it's first bricks. It was a wonderful move from the old building to the new build for the students. I contacted the school recently some two years after my retirement, in order to make an appointment to visit the head teacher and his team. I pass by the school frequently on a weekly basis in my new role within the NHS. I thought it would be nice to say 'Hi' to my old friends in my new NHS uniform and ambulance. Alas pensioner Robby the Bobby nobody is interested in what you do now. I heard nothing from the powers that be, how one is forgotten rather quickly and life moves on!!!!!
