Edit note: not sure this actually was the Metquarter. Where we went was the food hall in the old GPO in Victoria Street, but read on... Popped in to the food hall as recommended by Jay Rayner, restaurant critic of the Observer/Guardian. Had a brief lunch at Indian street food takeaway Chit and Chaat which was absolutely fantastic and great value. Highly recommended!

Brilliant now they've realised retail is dead and that it's best to be an experience centre. The everyman and food hall are really cool and much needed ideas for the city
