The staff were very efficient and friendly. The cinema experience was positive and without issue. Ice-cream was on the expensive side (decided not to purchase). Screen #2 Hill Street started off comfortable but by the end coats were needed, but then it is November

Staff are very friendly but to be honest the cinema itself is very outdated and needs urgent improvement. But at the same time the tickets are quite expensive. So unless you are local and don't want to travel far, really do not recommend...

It is quite a tried building, but the seats are reasonably new and comfortable. The "front desk" is no longer actually part of the cinema - it's an ice cream stall (with no one there.) Someone in a wheelchair fortunately had an able friend who could go up the steps to get a staff member to let him in through the fire exit. I don't think they have a lift, so he wouldn't be able to see a film on the upstairs screen.

Outdated and quite tired. Staff are friendly and experience is always positive but some of the screens are extremely small and sound systems are to weak to qualify for public cinema experience. Definitely not worth the ticket price. If you have a choice, walk away.

Saw James Bond on Screen 2 today (Below the main screen 1). Quite good size. Screen 2 have some rows with Premier seats. Am glad we paid extra to these seats. Very comfortable and spacious, specially for the 3 hour performance. Not sure you get the best views, as far back. The sound system is good here. At the main pop corn area you can buy beer bottles and wine by the glass. And the usual soft drinks and pop corn. Parking is difficult here thou. Good central location means you might have to walk.

THANK YOU MARK AND JAMIE! It was an absolutely pleasure to bring a pack of Brownies to a special Girlguiding screening of Mirabel’s Magical Movie yesterday. You both looked after us so well, this was much appreciated. The film was great fun and what a beautiful cinema! You were absolute stars! Thanks again, Emma 🌟🌟🌟

Great price for tickets, but the cinema itself in my opinion is due a refurbishment. I hope it gets it and they don't turn it into luxury flats like everything else. It has the potential to be so much better but is still good! Much better than streaming.

I don't know about anyone else but I like Cinemas that are in old buildings and don't think everything needs a refurb to look brand new and soulless, I like places to have character. Some people moan about this but it's a listed building so supposed to be like this. Clean, great friendly staff, what more do you want!? Enjoy

I love this cinema, the staff were so friendly. The cinema has a vintage feel. It's small, very little seating, not like the bigger cinema where seating goes down in a slope, you get someone tall in front of you,you will need to move to be able to see what your watching. However it's cosy, seats are not mega comfy though. Paid £2 extra for premium but makes no real odd to be honest not as comfortable as other cinemas. Nice place though, staff make it welcoming.
