It's nothing more than a blue plaque in a residential street. If you're around and are interested in

4/ 5

It's nothing more than a blue plaque in a residential street. If you're around and are interested in Queen's history, by all means visit it, but I wouldn't be coming from afar just to look at a blue plaque and say "I've been there"

Being at LHR / London heathrow and not taking the opportunity to visit Freddie Mercury's first UK ho

5/ 5

Being at LHR / London heathrow and not taking the opportunity to visit Freddie Mercury's first UK home, is probably considered a capital sin. Specially if you are a Queen fan. 👑❤ Eventhough it is not "Garden Lodge" people find it very moving to be able to see where all the "Magic" 🎶 🎤✊ started. If you just happen to be at the airport and are not driving, you may get there by bus... getting off at the main road and walk towards the house... It is a quite street, and not too many people visit it.... but again, if you love Freddie Mercury just to stand in front of his parents house for a few minuts, knowing that he lived there... will be a meaningful experience. BONUS: If you happen to like indian food.... you are in the right area.... Walk around or get yourself to Hounslow and you will find rather good and unexpensive small restaurants.
