A really good tour by a very knowledgeable guide. The only issue is that we would have all liked the tour to be longer as there is just so much to see. The building is very modem in its layout and very easy to access from Acton Town tube station. A great collection old tube trains some of which have been wonderfully restored. Also lots of old buses, some of which you can go on board. Also loads of other artifacts such as maps, timetables and station signs etc. Plus a great collection of books to be purchased from the friends shop.

Not generally open to the public but worth a visit if you can. Some great old tube stock and buses. Fascinating engineering items including old tunnelling equipment. And some interesting ephemera.

Very good place to visit!! The staff are very helpful and friendly! The old Transport vehicles are good to look in and ride on. It is very near to Acton Town station! They have events for people of all ages including a little model railway that you can ride on! Plus old route master buses! Would definitely recommend!

Fun activity if you want to try something new or different, or if you are even only a little bit a interested in trains, busses or the London underground. I am not part of the second category but did have a good time here. Astounding how much stuff is packed in this depot. Look for open days to go.

Outstanding museum. So much to see and learn about. Particularly amazed at the stunning poster collection which is basically a hidden art gallery of stuff commissioned over more than 100 years.

We purchased an annual pass by booking a visit earlier this year. We have been back 3 more times and kids (and us!) never tire of it, it is a lovely museum with lots to do, the kids love it. We also visited the Santa this year, he was really good and the kids enjoyed it, it was also free! If you enjoy interactive, child friendly, transport museums then it is more then worth a trip! It was well worth paying the price of the pass.

Fun place to go for both adults and children. The museum's collection on the transport system is fascinating, lots of interesting facts to read. There are also themed play areas for the little ones. My 20 months old son had a great time exploring. You can bring your own food and sit in the dedicated areas to have lunch inside - very handy for those who have children! It is also clean inside, you can see the staff regularly wiping the surfaces. If you are looking for a day out especially with kids, I certainly recommend the London Transport Museum.

This is an excellent museum. They have several very old trains, along with some of the newer ones. Here I found an 80's underground train, which would have been the one I rode in my childhood. There are some activities for the kids, so this would make a great family day out. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. This makes a great day out and we'll worth the entry fee.

We loved this museum. Our almost 3 year old granddaughter loved it as well so win win! For the young kids there were lots of places for them to explore different modes of transportation set up as okay areas. For the older people there was loads of information as to the history of transportation and the needs of people at various times throughout history. We especially loved the area specifically about the subway. Definitely worthwhile.

Amazing place. Had fun exploring the museum. Hygienic and polite staff. My lil one had great time. He loved the idea of driving his bus..A must visit place to learn about more than a century old transportation. You won't be disappointed. 1 less star for the food. Not that great.
