The bunker itself is fascinating and brought to life by the talk by the guide who was incredibly knowledgeable. The visitor centre is well done and was an interesting walk around helped by the interactive displays. Both my wife and I really enjoyed the 3 or so hours we spent here

Really interesting place to visit, the guides are so knowledgeable, there's so much information to take in, the bunker is well laid out with interesting items of the time also. Not badly priced and has parking outside. This is a bunker and I didn't see any wheelchair access, you may have to enquire about this.

I took my 7 year old Grandson to the Bunker during half term as I knew they were doing activities. He had been there several times before but loves it every time. The activity was an added bonus. He made an Anderson shelter, see photo (with some limited help!)

Very interesting and informative place for a visit. (Free for adults if you have a Hillingdon First card). Lovely setting for a walk...trees and a stream. Very easy to get to. We went by bus. Just a 10 min walk.

British history! A must visit for knowledge of how bad it was in England during 1940. Has the control room for the Battle of Britain a museum with lots of ww2 aircraft and a coffee shop. The talk on the visit down the bunker brings Sep 1940 to life and they also cover the D day landings. Go!

Surreal and moving. Even the walk down the steps to the bunker gave me chills as I was transported back to 1940, imaging the shoes that previously descended the same path. The mass of information processed and rapid decisions made is astonishing. The new welcome and information centre is impressive and worth a walkthrough as well!

Had a tour here mainly to take my younger sibling who was interested. I ended up being intrigued myself. Dave was our tour guide and he made the history incredibly interesting. He also had really good humour. The tour of the bunker is limited to mainly one room which its interior has been kept mainly untouched And another room where items from that period are showcased.

I’ve lived near Uxbridge for years, and I had completely forgotten about this little historical treasure on our doorstep. If you like history in general, or history of war, this is definitely a place you should give some time to. You also get discount if you’re a Hillingdon resident, which is great. We went in a small group, which included my 10 year old nephew. He enjoyed it very much, loved the full size aircraft throughout, and enjoyed the talk in the bunker a great deal. Definitely worth it, as it is fairly inexpensive. They also have a cafe and gift shop. Lovely.

Great museum to spend a couple of hours in. The tour presentation is essential. You really get a sense of the huge complexity of how the squadrons were managed and the integrated nature of the Dowding system. It wasn't the British alone who were part of the Battle of Britain, many other nations played critical roles without whom the outcome would have been very different .
