I am currently studying level one English at this library twice a week and after just 3 weeks I feel frustrated for a number of reasons. For example, I dislike the fact that there are only two public toilets and only one is accessable to the general public. Yesterday (27/09/18) I felt the need to use the toilet but it was locked and no reason was given and when I asked a member of staff if I can use the other toilet I was told that I can't because it is for children and disabled people. I felt humilated and very upset because I was trying to explain to the person that I had to use the toliet urgently and she refused to grant my request. I have written a formal complaint to Brent libraries but in the meantime I think that it is appropiate for me to leave feedback which reflects the way I was treated by a member of staff in this library. I personally think that the public should avoid using this library and if possible find another one to use instead where hopefully the staff show respect for the people that come in.

Omg I have missed my impromptu visits to the library since covid shut everything down. Working as a carer i can get gaps between my visits to clients. So my love of reading n going to the library is my little slice of heaven, a sneaky pack of biscuits n I'm living the dream. The staff at Harlesden library are really friendly n helpful, were very welcoming when seeing me back today. Unfortunately there are always a few people who don't know/care that libraries are meant to be a quiet place for reading, studying. So amazes me that they look surprised to be told to be quiet or you don't want to talk. Harlesden library has a great selection of books in my opinion and I look forward to my next visit.

It's a nice and cosy library, but it could use a touch up or expansion as there's couple of cracks and patches around the building, The computers are something out of 2009 but most people bring their own devices.
