5/ 5

My Lovely local library; for me it is like the heartbeat of the community. A reassuringly comforting quiet place to be. Am so glad it's not all clean lines and hightech wizardry inside, (although the pc's could process a bit quicker)! Overall it is an absolute pleasure to have a local library with nice staff and as a public space it hosts all sorts of different goings on there for the wider community. Without a doubt, it is vital to have a public library service available on our doorsteps for those much needed moments of solitude, which these days, is very hard to come by in these fast-paced modern times.

Staff doesn't seem to appreciate the fact that people might want to go to library to revise or read

1/ 5

Staff doesn't seem to appreciate the fact that people might want to go to library to revise or read in SILENCE. Not only the persons at the desk did not ask customers to keep phone calls and conversation volume to the minimum, they were actually the loudest and noisiestst in the whole library! If you look for a quiet place go to Ruislip Manor Library instead!
