Avoid at all cost! The wrapping was so nice that I did not open my daughter's wedding dress box until 7 years later to show it to her own daughter. How distressing! There was a big burn on the bust (too hot iron) and it is ruined. I could hardly go back and complain after such a long time but I can see why they have such low ratings. They should not be trading in dry cleaning at all!

I would rate them zero if that was possible. I sent my wedding dress to them for cleaning and significant amounts of beading have come lose and thread holding beads have been damaged. When I complained to customer services I was told all dresses go into a machine. This is not clear from the website which makes out that they offer a premium service and that all dresses will be handled carefully. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! I think you are better off washing your dress by hand yourself if they simply throw it in a machine.

I would strongly advise you NOT to use this company! I was told about them by a friend and decided to go ahead and have my Jenny Packham wedding dress, my LK Bennet shoes and my grandmothers 1920's veil cleaned and boxed by them. I spoke to them about each of my items first and they assured me that they had cleaned similar items and had no problems. When they recieved my dress they called to say that due to the pearls etc on it they would suggest i had it covered in cloth (extra £85) just to be on the safe side, and this would eliminate any damage at all. I agreed. The day before my items were due to be delivered the manager called to apologise, saying there had been a mix up and my items would not be delivered until the following week. At this point i thought,ok these things happen. The following week arrived, i waited in all day,no delivery. I called and he said he would look into it. A few days later i had an email saying they would be delivered the following day and i was very excited when the courier arrived. That excitement did not last! In the box was my wedding dress...in a worse condition than when i sent it! I believe someone had been wearing my dress but i cannot prove this. It has snags in the silk, the pearls had lost there varnish, there were more mud stains on the bottom than when i sent it,there were numerous pin holes in the shoulders. Also in the box was......the original 1920's box i sent my grandmothers veil in....but no veil and no shoes! I rang them straight away in tears. The manager said again he would look into it. He then called back to say he had my shoes infront of him and would personally have them packed and i would recieve them the following day. They did not arrive! A few days later they did arrive..........i almost broke down in horror! My grandmothers beautiful lace veil was ruined! It looked like it had been washed in bleach! It was so crisp and brittle i could not fold it as it would rip.The corner is out of shape and looks like it had been tied in a knot around a washing line to dry! Now to my shoes...well they were £195 LK Bennet shoes, i wore them for max 40 minutes to walk down the aisle as i have a rare bone mass in my neck and struggle to wear heels. My wedding day was 28/09/11, 25 degrees and very dry. My shoes were immaculate apart from about 4mm of mud on the heel as i walked across grass. They have been returned to me totaly destroyed!!!! the toes are mouldy, there is fake tan all over the sling backs (i have never fake tanned in my life), but wait for the best bit....who ever wore my shoes forgot to take the tacky sparkly beeds off the sole that they had glued on as there something blue! As you can imagine i called them straight away again. This time to my horror the phone rang a few times and they disconnected me. I called a few times again and the same happened. So i called from my house phone which they do not have the number for....they answered! I was told the manager was on the other phone and would call me back, i told them i would wait. I was again disconnected. I then got an email asking for photographic proof. Which i did straight away. I then had to wait 2 weeks as they had gone on holiday. After many emails from me they answered asking me to send my items back so they could see for themselves. I refused to send my dress and veil but sent my shoes......I have not heard a thing from them since. My emails have been blocked and my phone number. I am devestated that my precious items have been ruined. I feel violated. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!
