5/ 5

Very convenient and easy to get to, especially for early arrival flights. Only drawback is there are sometimes slightly long waits to use the showers (~10 minutes). But the fact that it's available as an arrival service, let alone complimentary (for business class passengers), it gets a 5-star rating.

4/ 5

I give it 4 stars as it is the best United Club we have been to. All the US clubs, even after refurbishment, are just OK. Never had a problem and since we fly out early we never see the crowds. Nice private toilets that are constantly being cleaned. The only bad part (and the only reason not a five star review) is this will now be converted into a Polaris Lounge, meaning have a United Club membership will NOT get you in. I haven't read if there will be any available alternate.

Good selection of food and drinks, very comfortable to relax while waiting for your flight. A little bit expensive for what one gets, but at least very superior to United Airlines Lounges in Houston.

Compared to US airports Heathrow is amazing. It is a very open air feel with a lot of restroom facilities that are maintained quite clean. The downside is that this is a busy airport and they don't post gates until 30-45 minutes before boarding. Given their main gates this isn't an issue; however if you need to take the 15 minute walk to the B gates it can be inconvenient and leave you feeling a bit rushed. Other than that walk I arrived three hours before my flight outside the EU and had plenty of time to get through security, pick up last minute gifts, grab a bite to eat, and walk off energy before my 8 hour flight.

Nice lounge, spacious, restrooms / toilets were clean and spacious as well. Power points in the lounge chairs didn't seem to be working (I tried a few) but they were working in the other areas. Generally tho, a nice lounge although a hear that United will be updating this to a Polaris lounge in the relatively near future.

1/ 5

On Monday, Dec. 7th a member of your check-in team at Heathrow made us remove all the baggage print-out tags we had just put on, then proceeded to double-tag one bag while potentially leaving our first checked-in bag either without a tag, with a duplicate, or with a new tag that we were not given a receipt for. THEN, sitting on the plane ready to depart to have a customer service advisor come in and ask us to confirm how many bags we had, we did and asked if there was an issue only to be told "no". THEN arrived in Newark to be told that our bag is still in London, has not been scanned, and no one knows where it is. THEN to call the claims line and tell them all the details about the lady who checked you in (age/description/name/time/first check in of the day) to be told by your representatives that it is "impossible" to contact a member of your staff during a missing bag investigation. It contained many sentimental items and as we had originally planned to move to England before planning to move bag, this missing luggage contained all our clothes and bedding. Its always great when a company wont communicate with their own staff, take any accountability, or speak with their customers! 🤗🤗🤗

I love that there is an arrivals lounge, wish that it was open to premier members that weren’t flying business all the time. The shower suite is super convenient and really great. They are cleaned very well in between users and the towels are always fresh. The ventilation or fan system really needs to be upgraded or installed as a matter of fact. After taking a hot shower it feels like I can’t breathe in the shower suite and need to finish getting ready with the door open to let some air in. Also, there should be a courtesy blow dryer or at least someplace for me to plug my own in.
