This is by far the worst and the most unreliable shipment company I have dealt with, including their Singapore agents. Most recently used them for move from London to Singapore. They were super nice while giving the quotation and the until the time the belongings were collected. Real issues started thereafter - wouldn't give any update on timing, delay in delivery timing than originally advised, charged extra for delivery and refused to install a simple baby cot which was originally dismantled by their collection crew. I have moved locally and internationally a handful of times - every move comes with small issues here and there, but none of it to this extent. I really recommend everyone to beware of this company and think multiple times before asking them to move your belongings with them.

We used Pickfords to move our belongings from London to Los Angeles. The first of our issues was relatively minor; measurements, confirmed twice, for custom built crates were not followed. This was a small inconvenience, and was corrected at their depot. The bigger issue involves some records which I made clear to the company were of particular importance. Some were sent in a flight case bought for the task. The records arrived but the flight case did not. I was told this was because the case was damaged to destruction in transit. However all other boxes arrived in good condition, as did the records, so I simply don't believe that one box was destroyed while the others arrived fine. The only conclusion is that the box was stolen by somebody handling our possessions. The records arrived in a very thin cardboard box. Pickfords deny this completely and only offered to refund the cost of the case (and not a penny more) after I flagged this up, nothing was forthcoming, and no further offer of compensation was made. This level of contempt for customers is totally unacceptable and I would urge anyone making a similar move to investigate other companies than Pickfords.

I wouldn’t use their services if you appreciate your belongings. They unpacked our belongings (including family pictures, expensive coats and shoes) throwing them to the floor like garbage and left. Pity that I cannot add pictures.

I used Pickfords baggage for a large move to the other side of the planet. The process was brilliant, in fact it was flawless. I then recommended them to my father, who has organised a smaller shipment of a mere 3 items to the same destination - with Pickfords. I have never experienced such a poor service in all my life. I don’t know if Pickfords baggage is the same company or not, or if they merely use the same core branding name. It may explain some of the differences but for what was an easier shipment, 9 months apart, I am flabbergasted how a companies service and process can deteriorate so dramatically. If this review stops one single person from going through the pain and inconvenience I have just experienced then at least some good has come of the process. I imagine my shipment has more chance of getting to Mars than ending up on my doorstep.

Pickfords moved me from Bristol England to Washington. They left two critical and valuable pieces of furniture behind at the warehouse when they loaded the container and since then despite multiple phone calls and emails , they have not been responsive. They do not return phone calls or messages.

It’s simply a frivolous big-name company. Customer service is zero. I tried to agree with them several times but they couldn’t give me a specialist to do it. From my experience, I can say that they are suffering from a huge shortage of people and the only thing left for them is their name, which will soon be covered in complete darkness. Avoid this company whether you are a company or an individual.
