The store is organised and tidy, and they stock e.l.f cosmetics unlike most Superdrug stores. I've always been served relatively quickly. However, one of the members of staff at Superdrug (Ann?) practically chases you around the store asking if you have a health and beauty card, and asking whether you follow the store on Instagram. I visit the store several times a week as I work in the area, and everytime without fail she approaches me. I appreciated it the first time, but the whole "you'll be the first to hear about our offers if you follow us!" shtick gets boring very quickly. Most customers would rather just be left alone to shop, but are too polite to tell her to leave them to it.

I love all the products but, so disappointed with their service right now. I just find out after so many months of being made uncomfortable. That one of the products I always buy from their store in Uxbridge do not scan their bar-code properly. Hence every single time I go or come out in some of the stores, it beeps and I have to kind of justify my purchases. It is really irresponsible and unprofessional to cause such discomfort to your loyal customers. Please fix your scans products or you might end up getting legal claims soon.

Absolutely awful experience with the Asian manager (she had no name tag) two days in a row for no reason at all. First she was incrediably rude to me when I was unsure about something so was talking to one of her colleagues at the till and she was practically shouting at me, treating me as if I was stupid, because "there was a queue behind me". When my aunty asked her to calm down she said and I quote "trust me honey, I am not shouting. You would know if I was shouting". The next day she accused me of staring at her and looking at the CCTV and concealing make up items when I went in with a group of friends and was very rude to us, following us around and asking us to buy an item or leave. The reality was that me and my friends where testing different brands and trying to find the right shade for my friend who has very light skin. I then noticed she kept looking at me and talking about me to colleagues so naturally I did look at her because you would look at someone if they kept staring at you. If she felt I was stealing then she should have politely asked to check my bag before I left. The whole thing made no sense as I enquired about a product to her, if I was attempting to steal I don't think I would draw attention to myself by asking questions. Spending 20minutes in a store does not make you suspicious if it is clear you are testing products in group. She was so rude to us that she made my friend cry. Absolutely appalled by this behaviour as someone who works in retail myself. I will never be returning to this superdrug and I do hope she gets fired because that behaviour was completely unacceptable. How she managed to get to her position and is allowed to work with customers, I will never know. Her colleague's looked embarrassed by her.

The one star is for the staff at the store not superdrug. Superdrug I continue to support for their stance on affordability and cruelty free products. I spend a lot on beauty products and spend a lot of time in that store but I don't feel welcome in the slightest. I am scrupulous about ingredients but spend too long in store and staff hover. Look if someone is out to rob they're not going to hang about looking at ingredients they would be in and out sharpish. Also till staff are curt and abrupt. I'm a mere annoyance in their day. It would be nice to receive some proper customer care service.

I don't normally write reviews but I must say I received exceptional customer service from member of staff who turned out to be the store Manager. She went above and beyond and was very hands on, on the shop floor. My query was dealt with fast and effectively. The shop was busy but everyone was in high spirits. All staff seem to be friendly. I definitely will be returning as I am not a regular shopper.

I will definitely not return to this shop again. A lady, (probably the manager) was shouting at me and other customers to get in the queue a few minutes before closing. I understand it was closing time but she was mean to me, screaming to get in the queue. Some of your employees should learn some manners and have patience with the customers. Also, she was not wearing a mask, which is mandatory now.

I was shopping in this store around 2 pm today. My card needed signature verification so the check out lady asked staff Rita to double check my signature, Rita came too slowly so the card was automatically rejected. So I politely asked to try it once again. Rita insisted that there was a problem with my card and asked me to use another one. I explained to Rita that this card is functional, just try again. But she kept interrupting me. During this conversation, I did not raise my voice, nor did I say any rude words. Instead, she shouted to me loudly, saying that I was abusing her, interrupted me repeatedly, and kept on glaring at me. And treated me like a thief because I was using a foreign card. I told her that since she works here, she needs to treat her clients with respect and can't frame her clients to abuse her when she is the one doing it. Maybe Rita has a racist agenda, or maybe she is just in a bad mood today. But she cant just abuse and humiliate a customer whenever she want.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I had to for this one.. Went to return an item that I bought online, the quality of the item wasn’t as expected but I wasn’t sure if that was how it was designed or whether it was damaged during delivery. When I explained this to the girl she ROLLED her eyes and sighed right in front of me??? Her attitude and rudeness was shocking and disgusting tbh. Appalling customer service idk who hired someone like this. I will be avoiding this store. cashier name: Natacha. Please just learn some basic manners
