I had a terrible experience at this branch. my card was blocked due to withdrawal of a large amount. i went to the bank to sort. was told to wait half an hour. I agreed. waited 45 mins then was seen by a manager. the manager was in conversation with a guy on the phone to unlock my card. but apparently she forgot to mention her name and her ID number. The guy could not unblock and was told to wait further. I had a flight to catch a flight and hence had to different arrangement for the money. I would not recommend this bank to anyone.

Appalling service and couldn't care less attitude of staff. What is the point of a Premier Service if you are stood in line for over 20 minutes (yes I noted them on my watch) and not one member of staff acknowledges or apologies for the six deep line that has formed. When the customer who was at the position has finished their business we are informed the till is closing. The cashier and two other members of staff then proceed to have a meeting! On the ordinary queue there are only two cashiers serving despite their being SIX positions! The answer I got to my query of why weren't there more cashiers was "that's all we've got!" They seem to have plenty of staff poncing up and down with ipads in their hands. GET THEM BEHIND THE COUNTER where they can actually provide the service customers want. Every time I go in this branch the situation is the same. GET MORE STAFF and put them BEHIND the counter where they might do some proper good.

With all the usury from interest that they are stealing from civilians, they still can't hire enough staff. Wanted to make a simple transaction for a house purchase and apparently they did not have enough staff. Absolutely pathetic

One of the worst branch. Withdrawal limit £2,000. Needed more than the limit. No other option than to withdraw the limit. Upon withdrawing money i realised there were 5-6 staff in the branch. 2 of them were serving customers and the other 3 were just talking. This clearly means barclays is paying them to talk rather than serving customers on counters. Rubbish bank. Maybe some other bank would help thier customers rather than paying staff to talk.

Really awful experience, waited in the queue outside I was advised when joining the queue that doors will close at 12 and if you're outside you won't be seen. I accepted this but getting close to entering at 11.55 and the doors were shut and locked. There was no engagement with customers, no empathy and absolutely non existent customer service etiquette. A complete lack of appreciation for customers who are key to the success of this organisation. I'll take my business elsewhere as a result.
