I have shopped at Zen (previously Conservatory) for years and aside from the clothes, which are fabulous, have enjoyed the light, bright space and particularly the helpfulness and professionalism of the staff. Over the years I've bought my wedding outfit and other outfits for special occasions as well as gifts for friends and sale items. I've never felt hurried and when trying on clothes, have appreciated the advice and help offered. Thank you.

Really lovely shop with so many lovely designs. This was my first visit and I immediately knew I’d found a new favourite. Includes gorgeous handmade shoes of the softest leather, beautiful fabrics, interesting designs and a great mix of styles and sizes. I am on the larger size and sadly too big for some of the Italian designed pieces but the very helpful shop assistant picked out some pieces for me and I also found other designers more forgiving for my shape. I ended up buying a beautiful dress that I know I will get a lot of wear out of. Not the cheapest shop, but everything of great quality. Well worth a visit. I was lucky enough to visit on a day with 20% off and was offered Prosecco 😀.

We mainly shop in Yarm but had reason to be in Jesmond, Zen a former Conservatory, its a lovely store with nice stock and we were served by a very pleasant cheery & knowledgeable lady, many thanks. As a footnote Julian we were very sad to see Conservatory disappear from Yarm all the best Martin Streich
