Great location easy access to york centre bus stop right outside site. Disappointed with shower block definitely not 5* freezing cold . Given grass pitch that was so muddy had to squeeze van on gravel car parking space..still charged full price ..should only take bookings for gravel pitches when grass ones are just mud !

Ideal site if you want to visit York. Good clean site and excellent pitches which are a good size and serviced. Nice attractive lake but can't comment on the fishing. Toilet facilities are good and clean but although very spacious need some attention to bring them up to date. The bus service is excellent. The downside is that there is no shop and nothing in walking distance. Just stocking the basic essentials at the site office would be helpful and a great improvement. Dog walking area is really a joke. Far to small. The main road is more than dangerous as there is no path and cars constantly speed along. Walking is impossible unless you have a death wish!

We love this park as it's very friendly place to stay the staff there cannot do enough for you at anytime of day. The shower blocks are one of the best we have had to use in all the parks we have stayed in it's also dog friendly which helps when you have pets. We would, recommend staying here with out a doubt.in our eyes its 5 stars.

Just stayed for five nights, what a fab site! Clean, tidy, the pitches are huge and most are fully serviced too. Great location for visiting York there's a bus stop at the park entrance and the ride to the city takes ten minutes. Will definitely be back in the future.

A very well run and maintained public site, ideally located for visitors to York and the surrounding areas. The "hard-standing" pitches are actually gravel, so caravanners will need pads. The grass pitches look as though they don't drain too well, but I didn't look too closely and there had been a lot of rain. There is electricity and water to many of the pitches, and the toilet and shower block is modern and well looked after. Prices are reasonable, and I would certainly use the site again.
