January 2020. I'm an ex-pat, lived in Bristol back in the day & have been overseas in Australia for 30 years plus. Long story short: it came time to sell my parents house, this I was dreading because of the distance. With technology & communications making everything much more manageable, there's still the logistics to negotiate & even if one lives locally, property sales can go sideways for any number of reasons. We’ve just bought our first home through Woods in Westbury-on-trym and I couldn’t recommend enough. From the first viewing to completion they we’re very professional and accommodating. Tim and Brittany were amazing with their help and advice, and were unwavering in their efforts to help us. I dealt with Craig from the estate agents, as a mature student I found it a little bit hard to get reasonable pricing on properties or was put back of the queue in regards to others. Craig has been great though, made everything happen swiftly and prioritised me. Even helped moving my bed in a day early of the tenancy because it was helping me out! Shocking service ... I’m trying to buy a property Woods are selling ... calls nor returned, broken promises to do something and turned up to view at an agreed time and they didn’t. I wouldn’t buy a property from them now even if I wanted it and I definitely wouldn’t market a property with them having seen how they don’t work!
