I have had several tui na treatments with Christine now. I suffer from shoulder problems and the treatment has helped so much. I wasn't sure what to expect at first but Christine is so knowledgeable and talked me through how the treatment works. I also felt other benefits - always sleep so well and feel less stressed afterwards. The treatments have been tailored each time to exactly what I need. The treatment room is so beautifully decorated that it's like a little oasis of calm to get away from everything for a while. Highly recommended!

I'd started personal training sessions about 9 weeks ago and had been suffering with aches and pains in every part of my body with a limited range which can be quite restricting with some of the exercises we have to do but I have been to Christine now on a couple of occasions and I always have my best training sessions afterwards with me always reaching PB's. The tui na massage is so helpful and I immediately feel the difference. Definitely book in as you don't just get a great massage but you also get an education Christine's in depth knowledge about your muscles and joints which is invaluable.

From the moment you enter the treatment room at Wood Tiger Therapies, you are immediately put at ease as you are warmly welcomed by Christine’s friendly and open manner. The room is beautiful, cosy and warm and you cannot help but begin to relax as you breathe in the wonderful scent of the aromatherapy oils. Having suffered with anxiety and depression from my early teens (over 40 yrs) and having tried numerous therapies alongside my medication, I can honestly say that Tui Na and Reiki have given me the most positive results. The invigorating and stimulating sensation that the Tui Na gives me is wonderfully complemented by the Reiki that follows, which leaves me feeling calm and at peace with myself. The highs and lows that come with anxiety and depression can be so extreme and self destructive and I’ve found that at the onset of these particular times, if I increase my Tui Na and Reiki sessions, then it has been extremely beneficial in preventing me from relapsing even further and in fact has been most helpful in my recovery. I’m not saying that it is a magic cure, but I do know that for me it helps keep me on track and makes me feel more positive and energised. It’s a treatment that I feel benefits me greatly and one with which I hope to continue. In addition to this, I cannot recommend the Tui Na massage highly enough in aiding the relief of painful joints/exercise injuries and I would even go as far to say that the effect is as good, or in fact better, than a sports/physiotherapy massage treatment in my experience.
