Review

Trains run to Liverpool every half an hour with more at peak hours. The station is right in the centre of West Kirby and only a short walk away from the seafront too. There is a small ticket office and a cafe at this station.

Review

West Kirby is the terminus for trains arriving from Liverpool Central station. The station is in the centre of West Kirby and therefore handy for the shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and the beach. The station has safe storage for cycles and has cycle hire service too. There is no toil at this station. A staffed ticket office is available.

What a surprise the end of the Wirral Line. The first impression arriving by train for the first time in my life was a beautiful seaside town. The day actually was terribly windy, a pleasure for the windsurfers but difficult to hold your hat. I have to come again.

Review

Centrally located in the town, it is a short walk to the beach or main shopping area. There is a manned ticket office and a mix of shops surrounding the station itself. This is a terminus station with regular trains going to Liverpool Central.
