Charging termination fees on my partners membership while your gym was still closed is very poor form. Unfortunately, as you have refused to refund this amount, I have lost the good faith I had in Virgin Active, and I will also be terminating my membership. Extremely disappointing end to an otherwise valued experience at your club. I thought better of Virgin Active, shame on you.

Changing rooms are always clean and the gym & spa are great. My only gripe is the free weights section is always really busy. It could do with being extended with more benches and squat racks in particular

Nice gym, spa area is great and clean. 4 hours free childcare a day for us with a family membership. Good kids swimming area and nice that kids can join you in the gym 10+ and at 8+ they can swim on their own with a shark pass. Free 4 hour car parking and fair cafe with decent seating area. Abit pricey but staff are friendly and overall worth it.

I am apsolutely disgusted with the cancellation policy at Virgin Active. I wish to cancel my monthly roll over contract for me and my child due to my mum passing away recently of cervical cancer and myself unfortunately having similar symptoms and therefore can’t continue to exercise. They have said I still have to adhere to the 30 days cancellation policy although I am unable to go, costing me £80 when I can’t even use the gym. They did say I could freeze the policy for 3 months and pay £10 per month for nothing instead. As a result of this poor customer experience I am glad to be cancelling

Had to ring several times before I got through to book an appointment to view the club with a view to joining. When we arrived for our appointment we spent 20 mins waiting to be seen whilst disinterested staff mulled around (talking about other clients within our earshot). Decided this wasn't the type of place we wanted to join and left. Found a much more approachable club (a little further away than we would have liked) but with prompt service and friendly staff so we joined that instead. Overall poor experience. Expected better from Virgin.
