Travelodge Okehampton Sourton Cross

I stayed for 4 nights in a double room. It was VERY clean which was honestly beyond my expectations. The place was spotless! The bed was super comfortable and felt brand new. The room was large and had lots of storage space for luggage. I had a nice TV in the room along with a kettle, bedding, 3 towels, extra pillows and tea/coffee. My room was super peaceful and a great space to relax after days out walking on Dartmoor. In terms of COVID-19 safety, I felt very comfortable and safe here. The reception staff were always very friendly when I walked in and out of the hotel. The only points for improvement would be maybe have a bigger bin as the bin was paper waste size and after a few pot noodles, it was full. I would also maybe have liked a night light if possible or at least the option but only because I do not like the dark. All in all this is a great hotel and definitely budget friendly! Great value for money and I would stay again and 100% recommend.

We booked a disabled accessible room which turned out not to be. 3 narrow doors to negotiate and a bath made it very difficult. A ground floor setting and a few handles do not legally conform to an accessible room.

Very basic, but clean and comfortable. Good shower and comfy bed with decent TV. Pillows were horrific! Too big and extremely firm, not comfortable. Only real downside

Warm and comfortable but needs upgrading and updating. Staff were amongst the most helpful and attentive that I have ever experienced in a travelodge! Otherwise it would have been a 2 star.

What can you say more than that this is a typical travelodge. Relatively it is cheap and good for a quick stay. Rooms are decent and relatively clean. Staff friendly and helpful, had a good nights sleep.

Travelodge is what it is. Basic. Functional. No frills.

The hotel itself was nice and clean and the room spacious. You get what you pay for with a Travelodge. What was exceptional about this hotel was the staff, they were really friendly and accommodating. We had a large dog staying with us and they couldn't do enough to accommodate him. It was a great experience given it was our first trip away with the dog!

Room was clean and in good repair. I was facing away from motorway so very little sound. Highlight of my stay was check in! Emma did her utmost to help and then some! Emma thank you for your help and just bring a dang decent person! Travel lodge need more Emma’s!!

Okay. Rooms were clean and spacious. Skeleton staff. Good location in Dartmoor
