Our first experience was 12 months ago and we loved it but this time we were not impressed. The hand washing facilities with regard to soap or handwash was not being checked as you would think especially with what we are dealing with Covid. On the whole I think the actual place could have done with a good clean and updating as it's not a cheap experience. Not sure I would go again. Sorry.

It provided us with everything we needed for a stay. Very quiet in rooms, no noise. Photos on line of rooms are far more impressive to what we had!!!! No tea/coffee in room - need to ask at reception! A pity we were not told this when we checked in.

Second time I've been. 1st was lovely rooms are lovely and spacious. Staff were friendly and you could use full spa. Second time i came in August with my cousins for the spa and overnight stay. Staff where friendly even though felt like we wernt looked after as there wernt may about. Felt like we were harassing them all the time. spa was busy. So couldn't get full use. disappointed we couldn't use sauna and steam room but obviously these were government rules at the times. This could be due to covid. Not sure if I would come again as I think for the price and service you can get a better price else were.

Quiet clean and polite staff. We had a great night at the suites the meal was very nice and not dear. We were talking to the staff telling them we stayed there 35 years ago on our honeymoon night. We were given a free drink how nice was that thank you to Margo who served our dinner and to Joel from Blackpool who was excellent at making my wife’s cocktails he is a credit to the hotel thank you Joel. Our room was really nice too. The only problem we did have was the swimming pool was closed on the morning we left it would have been nice to have a early dip before breakfast I recommend this hotel to anyone.

5/ 5

Large comfortable suites, very clean and kept to a good maintenance standard. Very good full English breakfast, the continental selection could do with a bit more variety. Only problem was that even though breakfast is until 10am, they stopped replenishing the English breakfast buffet after 9-9:15 and staff was a bit scarce if you wanted to ask for anything. Pool facilities were great, including the jacuzzi, steam room, sauna. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout.

4/ 5

Good hotel, with a fantastic pool. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the cleanliness. Also the bathrooms are very dated . Our toilet didn't flush properly and the water in the shower could not be adjusted properly. The rooms and bathrooms in general could do with some updating/refurbishing as it's all a bit of a dated look. Also the breakfast is pretty rubbish, not much of a selection, it was all very limited and the food was generally quite bland. Having said all that, the room we got was perfect for our needs (2 adults + 1 child) and our family room was great, as we had a door separating our bedroom from where our child was sleeping, thus giving us a little bit more privacy. I would happily come back and stay in there again.

Rooms are all suites which is great as lots of space. Also clean and tidy. Toilet in room. Didn't work so reported it to be fixed while out the next day, returned to find not done and maintenance staff had all gone home by 17.30. Offered an immediate room swap which was great but ended up with a room of two singles pushed together so had the bump down middle of bed. Staff were all super helpful and would recommend just took the edge off
