Came here with a golf society. Everything about the place was quality. The hotel facilities, including the pool were first rate. The room was spacious with the bathroom the standout, containing both bath and shower. The golf course was in immaculate condition. A good challenge which everybody enjoyed. The staff in the Pro shop were great. Thanks to all the staff for making it a fabulous weekend.

So, interesting one this. The course would be a 3 or 4 star. It's true it's gets better and from the 8 hole is a pretty good course. A number of forgettable holes but enough to remember. Fairway grass was way too long the days we played. The hotel. 1 star. Awful. Old, run down, in desperate need to love and attention.unconfortable beds. We had a twin and my friend had a stain on his sheets that was utterly revolting. Staff all trying but some seem just under trained. Good intentions but just not up to standard. We went for the golf game giving a 3 star and not a 2. Stay somewhere else and drive in.

Beautiful golf course. Loads of huge bunkers and lakes but also wide fairways and well trimmed rough so it's very enjoyable. Dinner was excellent but there was only white bread for breakfast and sandwiches which is poor. Still gave 5* as it is a lovely venue

Firstly and most importantly, this is not a review of the staff or golf course both of which were exemplary and couldn't do enough to help. I stayed here for 2 weekends 6 years ago and it was excellent both times. Clearly the owners have spent zero money on it since then and as a result it has suffered badly. It is an upmarket premier Inn attached to a fantastic golf course with very poor food. This place could be amazing as the course is one of a kind and the setting is beautiful. Unfortunately lack of investment has left it wanting and it needs closely looking. Know what to expect. The 4.2 on Google is not accurate it is a 3 at best.

Lovely grounds and very grand drive up to the hotel. We had booked for my hen party and the spa was amazing. The afternoon tea was nice although the staff could have made more of an effort. Will return there though as impressed with the facilities
