Useful central location right next to Lime Street Station. However, some rooms overlook the station and therefore are very noisy until the train announcements stop. My room was okay but very warm considering it was mid-January. I had to have the fan on all night and the window open. Other friends said their rooms were too cold. The bathroom was fine but there was a bit of a ammonia-based smell coming from the sink. Bed was comfy. Room was clean and cleaned nicely every day. I ate in the hotel one night, partly because they had a very good "January Sale" deal. Food was acceptable, and certainly for the price (two courses for about £10), if a bit sweet on the sauces. Overall, a good place to explore the city, but nothing special, so be guided by price.

Bar food really nice. Used car park to go to theatre. Guard was really helpful and friendly. I was very grateful for his support. Even though it was very busy well under control and he was a great help

Wonderful short break. The room was spacious, clean and very tidy. A reasonable price, that includes a very extensive breakfast with lots to choose from. Very central, only a short walk in to Liverpool city centre and docks. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Lovely. Room was clean. A bit noisy with window open cause it's next to lime st station but what do you expect. But slept well all the same. Breakfast brilliant. Bar good.
