We were looking for a place to have lunch and decided to try The Jam Factory. We were seated promptly and given menus but then the server disappeared. We ended up ordering food from the bar. Our party of three had an order of the roast beef dinner and two orders of the Lady Cluck grilled chicken on a bun. The food was top notch. I would have given five stars but for the confusion over who would take the food order. Our successive server was friendly and attentive. Please stop and enjoy the food and art

This is a great restaurant, that doesn't mind you hanging out for a long time to get work done. They have a nice selection of food with plenty of vegetarian options, as well as stuff for us carnivores. The coffee and tea selection is very good, and they serve sodas by the pint, which is somewhat rare around here. Also, they have a selection of art by locals for sale, which is a nice bonus

This place is great! Dress codes?? Not Here! They are cool with whatever you want to wear. One time I showed up dressed like a dinosaur and they gave me a free lemonade (I am not sure if this is official policy or a one time thing so don't complain if you show up in a dino costume and get nothing) Other times i went there dressed as a tiger or a camel and still no problems. They are really cool. Plus they have awesome comedy shows at this venue. I've seen some amazing, hilarious and inventive shows here over the last year. Those were great too!

Quirky cafe, restaurant and gallery. Good food, good value, friendly staff, central location near railway station. Highly recommended

THE WORST sevice in the world - that guy behind the bar this morning was so grumpy AND rude! Just what you need first thing in the morning! The avocado mash with poached eggs on toast was disgusting, bravo to The Jam Factory was making something so simple, so nasty! If there were any other cafe/restaurant close by, if we weren't in a hurry and so hungry - honestly we would go somewhere else! I DO NOT recommend this place, unless you have a desire to eat with a bunch of flies hovering over your food while you eat!
