Bought tickets for myself and a friend visiting me for the first time in York. We really enjoyed it from the beginning until the end and it was definitely worth every penny! Spooky, cheesy and entertaining, I highly recommend, either you are a local or a tourist! Thank you Dorian and Bob! ( Although Bob, you should seriously watch your alcohol consumption mate)

Good if you're a bit of a simpleton. Gets very old very quick. We left 20 minutes into it as there is no way we could have sat through 75 minutes.

Ignore the bad reviews! We did this tour on Halloween 2021 with our 9 year old daughter, and we thought it was brilliant! The tour guide Paul was brilliant and really funny! My daughter loved it. The tour is both funny and educational about York's past. We had a very joyful evening thanks to Paul and Bob thank you, I would highly recommend. 😃👍

Comical but disjointed experience. Ghost stories were short, lacked detail, and hard to follow. Small awkward windows were difficult to look out. Could be really good in a group if you've had several drinks. Tour guide certainly tried hard, but fell short. Would recommend alternatives such as dungeons or walking tour for lower or similar price. Disappointed overall.

Great ghost tour. Mainly on bus but there's a short walk included but not compulsory. Interesting information on spooky goings on in York. Well worth it if you've done enough walking in the day. Book ahead to guarantee seat as this was very popular and was fully booked the evening we were there.

A good "ghost tour" of York for kids or a bit of fun, perhaps for a hen / stag do. If your looking for a more in-depth, fact laden history of York, you'll be left feeling disappointed. Our conductor was enthusiastic and dramatic, but the whole experience felt disjointed, with random facts / statements thrown about and no overall story being told.
