The Eagle Newcastle – newcastle

The Eagle is my favourite bar in Newcastle. The environment itself is quite atmospheric and the music isn't too loud which is nice when you want to have a conversation. All sorts of goings on happens downstairs which is even more atmospharic. Themed nights are a thing also. Nice smoking area to the back of the building. Free WiFi and USB charging ports are available at the booth tables which comes in very handy. The Eagle is located close to many amenities which also comes in very handy as well. It really is a great place

Full of friendly, chatty people. Bar staff are always entertaining. Not pretentious, and always welcoming.

Staff are friendly, although not enough toilets to cater for the amount of people. The Eagle has themed nights that can be fun, weekends are busy weekdays can be a bit quiet. Worth popping in.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices and nice music. I might go back there.

A very good place for a night out

Decent place except bar staff are often chatting to the little group of friends at the end of the bar. Some great staff too

Cool place. The bouncers were good at keeping us safe. I’d recommend it. I’d caution that it’s quite X rated, especially downstairs!

Called in last night after attending a gig at the O2 academy For a couple of quiet drinks Lovely friendly staff.. And I would say definitely the best bar in the area 😉 Cheers Drew.
