Stayed for two nights and will definitely return. Room was lovely, very clean and bed huge and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, as were both meals we had in the evenings. Would recommend the steak and kidney pudding, absolutely delicious! Can't recommend this place highly enough! Made to feel very welcome by both the owners and the staff. Just a shame we didn't have time to enjoy the new outside bar area... But we will be back.

We are on our way back to London after an almost perfect weekend up in the North! 🥰 As you might have seen, we have been knocking around the Peak District, trying to do as much hiking as eating (failed 🤨😅). We chose to stay at The Cheshire Cheese Inn (Hope Valley) after reading great reviews. We’re pleased to say we can further endorse the positive reviews. Laura and her team are superb, every single member of staff we came across were a delight to talk to and genuinely seemed happy to be working there. The food was absolutely spot on - hot, tasty and full of flavour!! The picture we took here is of the superb breakfast that we got stuck into on Saturday morning… a real belly filler! 😍 The B&B itself is within the pub, and was right up our street. It was always buzzing with people, great smells of home cooked food coming from the kitchen, great beers on tap and then you’re just a few short steps up to a lovely comfy bed!! ☺️ Our fave things: I’m not sure we need to say more but this is a true gem.. if you fancy a bit of walking get booked in with Laura and her gang.. maybe wait for a time in the year that is a little less wet (unlike us) 🤪
