Really enjoyed our 1 night stay here. A lovely old building, and luxurious and quirky surroundings a-plenty. The pool, sauna and steam room were a delight, the meal was delicious, both in the evening and breakfast. The room was massive, along with the bathroom. The staff were so friendly and helpful too. Icing on the cake was free charging for the car. Almost forgot to mention the full size snooker table and we'll stocked bar.

Five star hotel with a one star kitchen. A wonderful hotel with the best staff I can imagine. Lovely team in general. Great facilities. However the food is absolutely awful and extremely overpriced. I'd happily stay at the hotel again if there was a significant change in the food offering, quality and skill within the kitchen. Really lets the whole thing down.

Our stay was ruined by loud music playing until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. The reason was they have weddings on Fridays and Saturdays, they did not mention the weddings when we booked, had they done so we would not have booked, when I went down to reception to complain about the loud music, the young woman at reception said I'm so sorry it will stop at midnight, I said that's no good we came back to our room to relax,we cannot relax with that noise, she just smiled, three times I complained,it was just a waste of my time nobody listened, we obviously did not matter to them,it's plain to see they think more of the wedding guests than they do people like us,we was not the only one's to complain, we witnessed a young couple complaining on our arrival, what the outcome of that was we don't know, we have not had an apology from the hotel ,and we think that is disgusting, we will not be staying with them ever again.
