DO NOT BUY A PHONE FROM TESCO BIDSTON. NO AFTER SALE SUPPORT! I went back with my temperamental phone within 30 days of purchase, and was assured that re-setting the phone would work - it didn't then, nor the other times I went in. Not our usual supermarket so a specific journey was necessary each time. I decided to take the replacement that was offered. Last night the guys were closing but assured me that the Saturday staff would replace the phone or offer a refund, with proof of purchase. Fobbed off again but I agreed and went back today. When I requested the replacement I was told I would need to return the phone myself to the manufacturer. A jiffy bag was to be posted to me soon. No alternative was now offered, despite being told last night I would not be without a phone. My anger is directed to "Mark", from the change in sycophantic salesman, to could-not-be-bothered post sale. Rather than help me he then got a floor brush and (smirking) he started brushing around my feet at the front of the queue (insider shop- joke of sweeping issues away and only interested in new sales for commissions/targets?). Whilst a colleague was delegated to me, he switched again in to obsequious sales mode for next in line.... I was not abusive or threatening, but was treated disgracefully. GO TO A PHONE SHOP THAT IS MANAGED PROPERLY.
