The service here is amazing. The staff are super friendly and really helpful. We came away with two out of the three pairs of trainers we wanted. Good safety measures in place due to Covid-19 also. Highly recommended 👍🙂

Tom, Neringa and the other staff here at Sweatshop Reading are a delight. They are runners themselves, have a great knowledge of trainers, running styles and the store has quality products. Yes it is more expensive than amazon, but you are paying for service, knowledge and the personal touch that can only come through regularly being in store. They also have the Sweatshop Running Community group runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays; when the build up to Reading Half starts, also Sundays so you can learn and practise the entire route over 8 weeks, gradually increasing the distance. Thank you, Sweatshop Reading!

Happy to give you the sales pitch that trainers last for 500 miles or around that mark but they dont. Less than a year old and over £100 later they have a giant hole. Apparently this is my fault as i should have got a bigger size ( i did the whole tredmill thing and had an advisor telling me these are the shoes for me) but if they are faulty after 6 months you are on your own. You seriously better off gettting your trainers elsewhere i have never own a pair from the brand i was chosen and i wont again. You will see quite a few negatives. Their answer to this was for me to patch it up and next time get a bigger size! Moral of the story Just dont expect your trainers to last more than 6 months clearly a year was pretty good going (only done 150 miles). EditDelete Share
