Avoid. Impossible to get a phone call appointment let alone a face to face one with a doctor. Call at 8.30am to be put into a queue of callers and finally get through at 9am to be told that they’re fully booked up for the day, how? Nearest appointment is in a week today. Constantly bad service, oh and the receptionists think they’re doctors and constantly either ask questions about your health conditions or speak about them loudly on the phone.

I have been with SPMC for years and not once been fully satisfied. Every day I call from 8:30 onwards to get an appointment before they're booked up but I am always hung up on point black until well after 9 when they say they open at 8:30, and even then I'm lucky to get so much as call back. Doctors a great, reception seems lovely, but I would never in a million years recomend this surgery to a stranger let alone loved one.

I lef this surgery because they were so bloody awful, especially the reception staff and understanding doctors re mental health issues. I joined North Laine surgery who were fabulous but now, due to the lease ending, they have joined together with, you guessed it, St Peter's and it seems nothing has changed. Do yourself a favour and run as fast as you can in the opposite direction and never look back. If I could give zero or minus stars I would.

Honestly don't bother with them. You can't even call up to book an appointment because their phone lines are either down or they hang up on you so you always have to go in to book it but they will keep turning you away keep telling you to come back the next day and do the same again and again. I wasn't able to see a doctor face to face until 3 months of trying they say they are usually all booked up 2 weeks at a time. When I did see the doctor she didn't give me my full prescription nor sign for them properly so I most likely will have to wait another 3 months of not being on my anti depressants and anti anxiety medication until it gets sorted out.. Talk about neglect. I'm moving surgeries.

I've called 3 times today & been kept waiting 20 minutes in the queue every time. When finally getting through the staff informed me I could have a call back the first time, for which they called the number I told them wasn't working. When I got through the second time I asked if it would be possible to get the call before I started my work session. They said that was fine & called an hour after the time I said I couldn't answer from. The third time I was told tough luck & try again tomorrow in as many words. I spent an hour on the phone today to absolutely no avail.

My very first visit after moving into the area. I came in regarding a serious issue that is not only effecting my personal life but my mental health, I explained all this very carefully to the GP and the service I received may have been courteous but in no way helped me. I was basically told to continue using the same over the counter medicine I'd been using for years (Something I'd explained) to no avail. I left with absolutely no help, I'm not sure what the point of this medical centre is.

Run as far you can from this surgery!!!! Never picks up, no matter what… Asked to get login for appointment online and she told me to do it another time as she is just one person at the desk. Told to call 111 after I call them they send me back to this Gp for advice. Dreadful service.
