Hosts were so warm and welcoming. B&B and the grounds its in was so clean and tidy. Furniture was so cosy and country styled making it a home from home feel. Fresh white bedding. Breakfast was to order to taste and provided so much choice. You just hand in your sheet the night before. Its fantastically located to the castle pub which is a fantastic place to eat in the evening.

We had a fantastic stay in the stables last weekend with our baby boy. These have been recently renovated to a very high standard and are ideal for a quiet retreat for a couple, or young family, with an outside dining area to enjoy the lovely views. Mark and Hilary are excellent hosts and catered for our every need. The place is situated just by the trails to Mam Tor as well as the local town/pubs. We'll be back in the future.

Amazing dog friendly barn, super close to all the attractions of Castleton. Mark and Hilary were friendly and helpful hosts and the barn had everything we needed. Our dogs loved the field next to the barns which made it really easy to let them out in the morning and evening. Great place to base yourself for a walking holiday. We will be keen to come back!
