Lovely little temple which you can on top of, wonderful views of the Peak District. Enjoyable but exhausting walk to get there from the car park which is at Pooles Cavern through the woods. Have to pay to park.

If you're considering visiting Solomon's Temple after walking around Poole's Cavern, do it! There are three walking routes through and up woodland before crossing an old site of industry, which in itself was interesting. The views from the top of the folly are very good, and even when the weather draws in as it did on our visit, the area is extraordinarily atmospheric.

Great walk to get there from Pooles cavern. 4 different routes. Not disabled or pushchair friendly. Great view from top of the tower, steep stairs. One bench nearby and some stones to sit on. Grass is very good to lay down on during summer. Cows roaming around, so feaces around.

Great walk up to the temple from the bottom taking in sculptures and a great scenery, plenty of wildlife to spot. We were followed up by a Robin which was a great feeling. Enjoyed the temple views from its roof top. Recommended 💯 % 😁👍

The walk up to Solomons Temple is really beautiful. It is uphill so quite a workout. The park is beautifully kept, and the temple well maintained. A stunning view can be seen for miles all around and down over the beautiful town of Buxton. I highly recommend visiting, there's also plenty of other attractions to be seen in this area.

A very good spot to walk and hike from the main Buxton town centre, only about two miles; not a grueling climb upto the top. You can climb the spiral staircase of the temple and get a great view of the surrounding woods and Buxton. One can enjoy the surrounding natural beauty walking around the place.

Such a lovely monument and I had a great time, brought 2 dogs and they loved it there, the whole field is enclosed and it's very hilly so they loved to jump and run around everywhere and they had a blast. The actual monument has stairs going up to see over the area which has a beautiful view, and we brought the dogs up there but I'd do that at risk due to steep steps, but a big dog could get up and a small could be carried. Overall I'd definitely recommend to dog owners and let them have fun off lead!
