3/ 5

The spa and gym need a proper cleaning regime shame good facilities let down by attention to detail and basic standards. Some areas need minor repairs which have been left for several years! I am sure once someone get injured then more focus will be given. Pity small repairs could save thousands in compensation and portray the facilities in a more positive image.

Our room stunk of smoke when entering room. Otherwise the room was good. Bathroom amazing bed comfortable spa bath. And breakfast was very good. I was at a wedding party and young girl serving us was so helpful and very professional.

Stayed in one of their suites two nights for a wedding weekend (so not cheap!). Disappointing from start to finish. There was no hot water from the bathroom sink. The toilet didn’t flush properly (had to wait 20 mins between flushes). Didn’t bother trying the shower, just decided to swim each morning. One bedside light didn’t work. The air conditioning didn’t work, so was really hot at night. Opened the one window fully to get some air only to hear our neighbour relieving himself on the roof outside in the ‘wee’ hours of the morning! The refreshment tray wasn’t replenished during the day, so had to go hunting for replacements on the second evening. Breakfast was both slow and disappointing. I understand they had staffing issues, but that was a poor excuse for all round poor service. Left my suit in the wardrobe due to a slightly frantic departure. They wouldn’t send it back until it had been weighed and I had been quoted for postage and paid. I waited nearly two weeks for them to take it to the post office to get weighed (no scales on site, apparently!). Needed my suit so got a friend in the area to collect it and send it to me. Never want to stay there again. However, the wedding was lovely and the meal was good!

Absolutely incredible!! Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed every single part of the hotel and spa. The Roman leisure swimming pool and jacuzzi really relaxed our muscles and gave us a feeling of harmony and peace, The sauna and steam room was just quite and sensational, And the restaurant was amazing, The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, brilliant service and the room we stayed in was devine. We shall certainly be returning again perhaps longer next time.

Just checked in to the hotel, my husband and I have been given a room suitable to meet the needs of a person with disabilities. Spoke to reception and they've said sorry, there's nothing we can do! No way either of us can take a shower as the head is too low. Considering this is our first night as a married couple, absolutely devastated. If the hotel is fully booked they need to stop accepting bookings, rather than to make some people suffer. Very rude.
