My best friend and I went in on Saturday. I had gotten a Groupon for a couples massage so we did a girl's day and went together. Contrary to the prior reviews, it was a great experience. Having the massage behind a screen in what seemed to be the waiting room was a little impersonal but it was still very quiet, warm and relaxing. A little confusing at first because of the language barrier but overall, we felt safe and comfortable. I will definitely return for another service.

The lady that runs this spa is very unprofessional as she literally kicked me out and told me she says i have to cancel my groupon coupon. I was very polite and asked y and she just pointed me out the door and says no, no, no.As she was sitting on a lounge chair with no customers and said shes too busy! Literally just sitting there with headphones on and pointed me out the door as if i was a dog! If there was an option of 0 stars they would get 0.

I love Groupon because it gives you the opportunity to try places you may not otherwise try. So I purchased a Groupon for a couples massage from here. I called and made our appointment with no problem getting one booked for the upcoming weekend. We arrived 15 minutes early but had trouble finding the place as there are no signs for it. We finally found what we believed was the right place, but after walking in and seeing business cards with another name, we weren’t quite sure. The woman who greeted us seemed to recognize the Groupon although she couldn’t answer our question of whether we were at the right place because she could not understand what we were saying and we do not speak their language. Finally, they brought my husband and i into the pedicure area that had a number of pedicure chairs and a couch in the room. There was a curtain lining one of the walls. We went behind there and there was barely enough room for two tables with each of our feet next to each other. We joked about whether the therapists would trip during the massage because it was so small and that we would both just totally crack up laughing if we suddenly heard the water running in the pedicure chairs. It was a crazy set up. Not realizing it at the time, one of the doors to the outside was right next to my husband’s head. Neither of us have issues with getting our backsides massaged but our underwear was way down during it (again not usually a problem for us), and people kept walking in and my husband told me after that every time he was like... I don’t even want to check to make sure there are no gaps in the curtain cause my a$$ was just hanging out like HELLO! 😂 The table was warm in the middle through the massage, but my feet and arms were FREEZING! They also played oriental music during it rather than the typical spa music ... but I mean whatever. It was nice music even though I couldn’t understand it. Lol At the end of the day, my massage was actually really good. My husband felt like his didn’t really know what they were doing. Mine was so friendly and gave me a hug when it was over. For me - for the Groupon price, it was a good massage although NOT what you think about when you think spa experience. I wouldn’t go back, but I feel good after it!

I bought a Groupon couples massage for my fiancé before Covid, and assumed I would lose out on the promotional value with the state shut down in March. They extended the expiration to the end of the year to make up for the shut down. After reading many negative reviews, I was prepared to take the loss on the money spent, but decided to give it a shot figuring I could get up and leave at any time if I felt uncomfortable. So glad we went! Previous negative reviews were completely unsubstantiated! We entered the building, and were told to wait a few minutes while they prepared our room. Received multiple apologies for the wait, which we had no problem with. Staff couldn’t have been more polite! When our room was ready, we were ushered behind a curtain where there were two tables set up. We undressed and laid down on the heated tables, immediately feeling at ease before the massage even started! Previous reviews mentioned it was cold in the room, but we went when it was 20 degrees out, and NEVER felt cold or uncomfortable! Received a full hour massage complete with oils and hot towel. Yes, there was a bit of a language barrier, but nothing that made us feel frustrated. The only thing I remember not understanding was “do you want it medium or hard?” We will definitely be back, and encourage anyone considering getting a massage at Sherry’s Spa to do it! You won’t be diapppointed!
