3 hour wait in A&E with my 4 year old daughter with broken arm, but they were busy and were friendly and helpful through the wait, A&E department was the most pushed and run down part of the hospital, semt a bit grubby and forgotten about. once we went to main part of hospital to have pot put on, it was clean, new spotless and a much nicer area and the staff were brilliant. Sean Nolan was the plaster caster and he was professional and hard working while also making my daughter laugh all the way through, he was like a children's entertainer and he was so busy he had a line of children waiting but his work ethic and attitude was brilliant.

Just got here 30minutes ago with my son with knee injury and was shocked by the reception staff who reluctantly accepted i needed help to lift my son from car as he couldn't walk and was on my own. Spend a good 15minutes struggling to lift him up. We went back to reception to see if they find me someone to help me, to my surprise they said their staff were not insured to carry out that tusk. I asked them if am to call an ambulance and they said i can go ahead if that was what i wanted. By that time my son was still in the car. After desperately trying to make them understand they called two nurses who came outside to help me.

First time here today after many many different hospitals and I was pleasantly surprised by the results. Friendly staff all round fantastic consultants so helpful. Wish we lived closer for full time care. Yes parking and travel in city centre a nightmare but to be honest it's all worth it. Clean and tidy great all round

Absolutely horrendous service from the receptionist on duty , to the A&E nurses to the assessment medical team. They do no listen to your concerns for your child, and basically rush you out for you to end up back there with the same issues. No care, compassion, and, empathy for my child or their parents
