Very biased and misleading deans. I was told I was lazy regardless of me being on the deans list for two consecutive years because I wanted fair treatment—another student in the same school (Fulton) had a requirement waived by the dean simply to get them to attend the school, I asked for the same treatment and was denied and told that I must fulfill the requirement “like everyone else” and to not be lazy, how two-faced. Most teachers here are good, some are god-awful and almost outweigh the good. I’d recommend going to a college that doesn’t charge $4500 per semester and chafgea based on credits, these vultures will pick you to the bone.

24-hour section in library is only open during weekdays, and on Sunday but not Friday. So it’s not ACTUALLY 24HOURS -.- Students out here trying to catch up with stuff in the night because, that’s when most of us function and get off work. Thank you for the facilities -.-

2/ 5

There are not many redeeming qualities about this college to be honest. I transferred from community college and attended the university from 2011 - 2012. I became involved in an extremely emotionally turbulent personal situation toward the beginning of 2012 for which I went into counseling on and off campus. The counselor that I was seeing initially, Meredith, was inept and disconnected from my situation. I was finally transferred to a different counselor and overall the counseling experience at the university actually seemed to make the situation (and my depression) worse than if I had abstained from counseling at all. Because of the same situation I failed several of my classes. I met with the head of the department for one of the classes I had failed and he was surprisingly compassionate and understanding about the situation. Aside from my personal situation, the grounds of the campus are beautiful. The multicultural events are really something worth investing your time. When I attended the university they would award a cultural laureate award to those who attended a certain amount of multicultural events. On campus housing is hit or miss. Off campus housing, go with University Park over University Village...it is worth the extra money.

I had the pleasure of speaking to students in the Education Faculty. Their open mindedness and willingness to embrace international books was inspiring. As an Australian author, it was wonderful sharing my I AM JACK' and anti bullying through literature with them. Hosted by Professor Ernest Bond and Patricia Dean, I enjoyed this university where there was a real commitment to raising literacy rates, promotion of international books, excellence and literature which opens discussion on the environment. I loved the university being so integrated into the town of Salisbury. it was a beautiful campus and a welcoming town.

Excellent school; one reviewer claims to have been robbed several times walking to class...LOL. He must have been walking down pitch black allies at 2am. If you aren't stupid, you'll be fine. Great school, great education, and great people.
