Absolutely awful experience dealing with their conveyancing team who hindered sale of a property with significant and unnecessary delays. Very poor communication where often they would forget to acknowledge correspondence and numerous occasions where they would fail to meet critical timings. Have initiated a complaint with the firm and will provide a future post on how they handle my complaint and if this has to be referred to Regulatory Standards.

Great service by Karen on reception. There is even a little car park and you will be allocated a spot for the appointment . Bright airy waiting area. From what I seen very disabled friendly. If your looking for a solicitor don't pass them by. All the staff were friendly and not an intimidating place.

Using them for a personal injury claim after moving my case to them from a different firm. Louise and the PI team have been great. Very thorough and have been getting me to see the best medics in the field as well as helping me with contacting other specialist help for possible treatment options, even have a top barrister on the case too. This team is a specialist CRPS firm and it certainly does show - no comparison to the other firm where I was just a number and a claim to get through the system quickly.

Guided by Zoe Hazel and Daniel I successfully completed the sale of my company and freehold property and the creation of a new lease. Communication was excellent throughout what was a prolonged and difficult process due to the intransigence and perverse nature of the buyer .Thanks to all for your patience

Last year James Worral in the commercial team at Royds Withy King guided me through the sales of my business. The team were a pleasure to deal with throughout, gave great commercial advice that saved far in excess of their fees and drove the deal through on time and in a manner that was complimented upon by the buyer. Excellent choice and great firm.

1/ 5

Massively inflated price - charged 25% more than original quote for business conveyancing after being given no indication that they were over budget and then they claimed that this had been discounted. On the day of exchange they suddenly changed their minds on stamp duty and said it needed to be paid immediately rather than some considerable time later as we had been told by them before - this jeopardised the whole (7 figure) transaction had we not have been able to pay this on the day. Smacks of incompetence and double dealing. Also told that something appeared on the deeds which when we subsequently investigated did not apear at all - again to our own disadvantage. If I could I would pursue legally as they were completely unprofessional in all aspects.
