This used to be a lovely friendly and efficient chemist. The service is now truly shocking - once I had to visit 5 times to collect my repeat prescription! Latest experience, I tried to collect on Saturday 2 Oct, to be told there was nothing for me and I should call 111. I contacted my surgery on Monday who assured me the prescription had been sent on 20 Sept, nearly 2 weeks before! So I returned and it was there as it had been over the weekend, but I have now found included in my bag of stuff is medication for someone else! Totally incompetent!

For some reason my elderly inlaws and my brother in law continue to use this chemist when the service is so dire. My wife who collects their prescriptions always gets the same answer " we haven't got the medicine in yet" this even after they have been in receipt of the prescription for 7 days. When pushed for an answer they suddenly find they do have the meds. The wife then has to wait whilst they put it altogether. I cannot recommend the chemist and have advised my inlaws to swap to Woodstock Road instead.

Unfortunatley since merging the two branches of Rowlands on Banbury road the service has gone down hill. My GP wont let me order repeat prescriptions until a couple of days before they are due, but now Rowlands takes 4-5 working days to get the medications in. For some reason the prescriptions go to a central hub for processing before being delivered to the pharmacy. Going 'cold turkey' for several days because of pharmacy delays is not ok and in some instances can be dangerous.
