I found Prestbury surgery staff condescending disrespectful. Had a meeting today to talk to a male nurse about my mental health and it turned out there I was correct when I walk through the door that basically he was no more like the one where he was like the Waterloo Road who get paid for tricking people into thinking they're better to go back to work. I've been a patient to Prestbury surgery for almost 30 years I've had a number of breakdowns and mental health people having been there for me I actually went to private on one occasion but I've also switched doctors surgeries 5 times but ended up back at the original doctors surgery Prestbury surgery.

Receptionist was so rude telling me that my enquiries are not ergent enough to see a doctor and also heard smirking about my enguiries when I told her if I could I would put 0 starts PEOPLE FIND A BEtTER DOCTORS SERIOUSLY I MEAN IT & also no one has to explain there problems to a receptionist who does not have a doctor degree my problems and everyone else's are confidential to themselves and there gp so no one explain there problems to the receptionist there just being nosy and again being rude change your staff or NHS standards will be involved immediately!

Bushbury practice. Rang 8am for an appointment as was concerned with rash and lumps on my breast, I was the second caller of the morning I waited 15 minutes to actually speak to someone and when I did I got told the only appointment they had for me was 11am but my 2 year old had an appointment elsewhere at 11:30am so the timing wasn’t possible, thursdays are my only day off meaning I have to wait another week to get my breast looked at. No patient care what so ever.

Disgusting service!!!! You call to talk to a doctor wait 30 mins to get through to be told sorry your not a lucky one today call back. When you call back same thing again. So you call on a weekend to be told they don't have any appointments. Call 999 if it's that bad as it's not our problem. The issue is they have too many patients and not a duty of care for them.

My family and I have been with this practise for many years now, apart from the usual queues at 8am on the telephone we have always been pleased with the treatment we have received the Doctors are very approachable and professional as are the nursing and admin staff, have only had a couple of occasions when felt the reception staff could've been a bit more empathetic (everyone has their off days!) but overall we've been treated with respect and kindness, we feel quite thankful to be with this practice considering past experiences.

Shut out in the rain after they pushed for answers for not wearing a mask (medical exemption). Forced to wear a mask to "protect staff" in the hallway where there were no staff at all. Treated extremely poorly by very rude and obnoxious staff

shambles.. I called and over 30 mins later listening to a recording saying to hold if you wish to make an appointment 🤷🏼‍♂️ Then to be told appointments can not be made by patients the doctor chooses! You need to call back at 8.00 in the morning, leave the receptionist (who clearly has delusions of grandeur) details of your condition and if worthy a GP may give you an appointment. Yes folk its a pick and choose setup. Suffice to say i called and called and got used to the constant engaged tone for 50 minutes and still cant get through.. avoid this place if you are looking for basic acknowledgement of being a human being.
