Called in to Liverpool city centre branch. hardly anyone in at lunchtime. Service from member of staff very polite. Food ok. Had a very nice bottle of organic pale ale... not worth £6 plus however !

We've been to this Pizza Express branch before, when staying in Liverpool and headed here again for an early evening meal as we were out anyway. Everything was really nice. Good service. Good food. A glass of wine. Good coffee to finish. When we paid;the bill, it just happened that my wife paid on her credit card. The waitress commented that she must be treating me!!! We thought this was quite funny as either of us might normally pay for our meals out as a couple and the waitress, a young woman, seems to be assuming that the man would always pay!!!! All resolved with much laughter. We're obviously, slightly more enlightened that she expected!!!! ;-) Anyway.... Plenty of good Italian style restaurants here in Liverpool and more than one Pizza Express. Business at the branch seemed to be steady. We'd come again.

Not a chain fan, but when in another city like to keep it safe and avoid any potential food issues. Best Pizza Express I've been to, even better than the one in Liverpool Street London. Efficient servers, good chefs!

The Pizza Express is a brilliant place! The taste is and the service are perfect. I was alone, but he gave me a big smile on my face. Did his job with passion and fun. Love to she that. Oh and the price is cheap. So this is absolutely a gorgeous place for some good food!!

One of my favourite pizza chains. Pizzas we ordered were large, fresh tasting hot and moorish.
