1/ 5

I bought an inverter for my laptop from PCFX via eBay which did not work. I started a Return via eBay, referred to the receipt from PCFX for details and saw a request to contact PCFX first, in the event of a problem. I cancelled the eBay Return, emailed PCFX and posted the item back, asking for a refund. They confirmed receipt of the inverter but say they cannot refund me because I do not have a Return opened with eBay; eBay say I cannot open a Return because I already cancelled. PCFX now say I started a complaint, not a Refund; I emailed copies of messages showing definitively that is not the case. I have advised them that they are in breach of 2014 Distance Selling Regulations but they would rather keep my £7.25. eBay are impossible to contact, other than in the Philippines, where they read from scripts. PCFX may be a good company when things are okay but their 'Customer Service' is appalling.
