First thing first, you get what you pay for. This is a very cheap hostel, and to keep a hostel of this size, this cheap, you need to balance the income. And I believe the management of this hostel does that in a good way. I do believe the sheets were actually clean, but it was hard to tell because of old stains. There is no cover for each individual bed, everyone can see you sleep. But again, there is no cover in the photos either, so you get what you pay for. It was kinda hard to figure out who worked there, and who didn't. But the staff i did talk to, was very friendly. The bathrooms and showers could use some upgrading. And maybe they should be cleaned a bit more often. Nothing overly gross though. The most positive part of the hostel is that it's situated very nicely. You are close to the buss station, westgate shopping center, the market etc etc. Over all, I got what I expected. This is not a 5 star hostel, but it's not that bad. What you see in the photos is what you get, and they don't try to hide the flaws. Good experience.

Not necessarily the best place for a good night's sleep, but I've stayed here a few times years apart and find it cheap and convenient. Good hostel environment for meeting new people, too

I had a great stay and was very comfortable. This is definitely a sociable hostel and was very friendly. Rooms had maybe 8 beds in them, common washroom had several shower stalls and was shared and gender segregated. They also rent towels.
