Today I visited Optical Express in Bath; I was greeted by Claire who is very professional and put me at ease straightaway, I felt very welcomed and under no pressure to commit to purchasing any procedures on offer. Claire could not do enough to help and explained everything to me and organise surgery and after care check-ups dates to fit my own schedule . Troy explained everything to me about lens replacement surgery and learnt so much from his excellent description of what the procedure would involve. I would like to thank Claire and Troy and all the team in Bath Optical Express for their dedication and hospitality in helping me start my journey in having lens replacement surgery. I would definitely recommend using Optical Express Bath for consultations and all their services.

Had my consultation yesterday with claire and troy(I'm not sure if that's his name but let's call him that for now) . Amazing service so polite and welcoming such nice atmosphere also. Great job guys! 1 thing I believe should be done is more signs of where the business is situated in bath very hard to find and there are no signs . Had to ring up to find directions but otherwise I can't wait ti go again and I look forward to the procedure!

Whist the shop is ridiculously difficult to find (enter via the door to the right of the EE shop and then up to the third floor), Troy Scott is probably the best Optometrist that I have used. He is empathetic, knowledgeable, very capable and advises according to your lifestyle - I'm a golfer and he discussed solutions specific to driving/golf/computers etc. I highly recommend him. No pressure at all to buy their glasses.

Terrible customer service. I went for a consultation, and despite being eligible for both forms of Lazer surgery I was constantly being sold the more expensive one. I have worked in sales and I know what assuming a sale is and how to upsell. I felt like they where very pushy and was almost rude when I questioned why I should choose the more expensive one rather then the alternative, as I wanted to betterubetter the benefits I would be getting . I did choose the more expensive option in the end and paid the deposit of £500 on request the same day. Later I was told that the option of finance was off the table because of my self employed status and the finance company have recently changed there policy. I explained that because I am in the process of purchasing a house, I didn't want to be refused finance and have to appeal it, as didn't want any negative marks on my credit score at this time. I was told I would be refunded in 28 days. It is now more then a month and a half and I've had no refund. I have rang them up a while after the 28 day deadline to ask about my refund. They then tried to sell me other things with my money that they have. I was told it would be in within 3 working days and it's still not in. For such a large company I'm really surprised at there angle of sales it's a very aggressive approach. and when you want your money back that you gave at the drop of a hat only to be told after that you can't finance, it is impossible to get it back. I was planning on using this company in the future to get my Lazer correction after I purchased my house. But now I definitely will not be.
