Excellent food and good menu choices. Never been to an Austrian restaurant before, so it was a pleasant surprise to find one in Torquay. Be sure to book - it's worth it! Sadly no Sachertorte on the menu.

Together with the Waddling Duck this is our No.1. Chef Werner is an artist in the kitchen. The veg dish between us was astonishing. I've never tasted anything better.

We went to The Old Vienna last night for a birthday celebration and had a wonderful time. The food was absolutely delicious and Werner and his staff couldn’t have been more efficient and friendly. We will definitely be going back and recommending it to our friends.

Small establishment, pre-booking is best. We were lucky enough to get a slot without booking on a Thursday evening, but it was a close call! Excellent food and service. All food, including the bread, is made in house. An enjoyable experience.

Three of us ventured in, not really knowing what to expect. We were delighted. If you like ambiance, good service, fantastic food, then look no further.

As everyone says, fantastic food, warmest greeting and treatment from staff who'd obviously love being there. Book well in advance! This is the kind of establishment where they do one sitting per table per night. 22 covers, so 22 meals served per night. Many dishes are Austrian, then Austrian chef is also the owner and wonderfully charismatic. The food is not shy in flavours. Even the snapse at the end is home made. We'll be returning.
