Absolutely stunning place. Host to my daughter's wedding & I can't find a single fault. The staff went above & beyond, very attentive, so helpful & extremely friendly. The accommodation speaks for its self... Stunning!! I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel as the attention to detail on the decor, the different themes set throughout, are first class. I most certainly plan to return in the future. Upon entry to the country estate, immediately you are met with a beautiful country pub with outside seating & a very accomodating landlord. There is ample parking at the hotel with an over flow car park at the rear. Golf course with all amenities including a golfing range. A health suite containing a swimming pool, steam room etc Otis diner catering in waffles/pancakes/milkshakes etc A sports bar with outside baloney seating and several other themed bars throughout. The large banquet hall hired was in keeping of "Art deco style" with outside balcony area & a truly large stunning bar, beautiful. Thank you Old Thorns for your hospitality and expertise.

Just returned home from a one night stay, and we had an amazing evening. The 3 course meal was exceptional, the main course was a massive portion and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The room was a very nice size, and the bed was so big and comfortable. We had a swim and used the facilities which was a nice added bonus. Breakfast was lovely, and everything was fresh and well cooked. Reception staff were very helpful, and when I asked for more coffee, I was instantly given more, along with sugars and milks. We will definitely be staying here again, and are already looking at the next weekend we have available. This time we will bring our Daughter, as she would love the swimming pool, but Daddy and Mummy needed this night to relax and unwind. Only downside was England losing, but there was nothing the staff could do about that as they weren't able to take the penalties for us 😉 Thank you for making our night stress free and relaxing. All the staff we encountered were a credit to the hotel. We look forward to seeing you all again. Kind regards Lauren and Paul

We booked a 2 bed apartment which was beautiful. Great views over the golf course. Large apartment. With 2 bathrooms too. Used the pool which was nice. Didn't use any of the restaurants so can't really comment on those.

Good golfing experience with good friends. The course is spectacular in places, and well designed.

Good golfing experience with good friends. The course is spectacular in places, and well designed. Even though I was grateful to have my round paid for by my new friend Nick, I thought the greens were a little dry and damaged in areas.

Played the golf course. Interesting course. Relatively short but makes you think all the time. Fairways well maintained, greens recovering from a bit of work and slightly bumpy. Would I play and recommend the course again - yes
